Purchases

The customer will receive an electronic confirmation of receipt of their order and the order details as soon as possible.

If an item is no longer available, is temporarily out of stock or, for any reason, we are unable to process an order, the customer will be notified.

Mimosa will contact the customer immediately if there is any query over an order and reserves the right to reject any order at any time.

Post and Packaging

We charge a flat rate fee of £4.95 per order for standard delivery to all areas within mainland UK.

A Premium rate delivery of £14.95 will apply to orders containing high value and fragile items in order to cover additional insurance costs.

Delivery time

Depending on the size of the goods ordered, delivery will be either via Parcelforce 48 hours, or First Class Royal Mail and must be signed for.

If requested items are in stock we aim to despatch them from our premises within 2-3 working days of us receiving the order.

If an item is out of stock we will contact you with an estimated delivery time as you may wish to cancel the order if you are unable to wait for delivery.

Returns and Refunds Policy

In the event of loss or damage during transit, replacements will be supplied free of charge. Mimosa will require notification of any breakages immediately and may require a photograph or the return of damaged items. We will replace items that are not in good working order. A full refund will be made for goods that cannot be replaced or an alternative may be offered.

If your order does not fulfil your expectations please return it to us within 14 days, unused and in the original packaging, along with the receipt, and we will refund you in full. Returns for any reason other than damage during transit are subject to return shipping costs.

Prices

All prices are in £ sterling and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.

We are constantly checking all prices to ensure that they are correct at the time of sale. If it is discovered that a price is incorrect on the site then we will rectify this as soon as possible. Should there be a pricing error we will contact the customer to confirm whether or not they still wish to purchase the goods at the correct price. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled and refund in full.

All credit and debit cards are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. Payments will appear as ‘Mimosa’ on your card statement.

Security and Privacy

We aim to make our online transactions as secure as possible. The information we collect is via a secure server which will encrypt your input making it impossible for data transmitted from your computer to be intercepted by others.

Card transactions are performed by HSBC secure e-commerce Customer Payment Interface. HSBC will take your card details and validate them.

Descriptions

Although every effort is made to portray items as accurately as possible, please allow for some slight discrepancies in colour or size. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process for handmade, hand finished or hand decorated products, each item is unique and may vary slightly from the image shown.

Restricted Items

Certain goods such as knives, are subject to age restrictions as indicated on the relevant web pages. By placing an order for any age restricted item you confirm that you have reached the required age. ID may be requested upon delivery to confirm that the individual signing for the goods is aged 18 or over.

Recycling

We do our best to be as environmentally friendly as possible by re-using, where possible, our suppliers’ packaging for dispatching our own goods.

This site is intended for personal use only and may not be reproduced or displayed without Mimosa’s consent.

Mimosa reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions, and it is the customer’s responsibility to check these.

Mimosa does not take any responsibility for any inaccuracies on this site, and will not be liable for damages of any type related to the use of this site.
